Five classic Bee Gees albums will be reissued on remastered vinyl May 8
The official Bee Gees account had been hinting at “wonderful news to be announced 13th Friday,” and now it’s been unveiled! May 8th will see the reissues of vinyl records of the five classic Bee Gees albums.
They are: “Best of Bee Gees,” “Main Course,” “Children of the World,” “Here At Last… Bee Gees Live,” “Spirits Having Flown,” all remastered, and priced $21.98, except for the two-LP “Here At Last” which will sell for $26.98. There will also be special limited editions in color priced $29.98 (the two-LP “Live” $38.98). You can pre-order at this link.
Most of those who come to check BGD on a regular basis may already have all of these (so we do), most likely multiple copies. Let’s just hope this is the precursor to many more reissues to come! The unreleased tracks, outtakes, liner notes by expert Beegeeologists, special booklets with never-before-seen photographs and detailed data… Well, you can always dream…
Update – March 16: According to Universal Music Japan, there will be no Japanese releases or editions.
