Barry Gibb confirmed for a New Zealand date after the Australian tour
As has been rumored for some time, Barry is going to play at the 2013 Mission Concert in New Zeland’s Hawke’s Bay on February 23 next year, according to New Zealand Herald (online version dated October 11, 2012) . The article reports that the announcement was made at noon by SEL chairman James Erskine and Mission Estate Winery Board chairman Phil Hocquard, who expects the show headlined by Barry to draw more than 25,000 people.
The article reports:
Gibb, 66, will be launching his international Mythology Tour with three concerts in his old homeland of Australia before jetting to Napier to perform on the Mission stage for the February 23 show.
The tour has been put together to pay tribute to the success he and his brothers Maurice and Robin achieved on the world’s music stage over five decades.
Furtheremore, BarryGibb.com now has added links for "tickets" both for "USA" and "worldwide." A promising sign for all Gibb concertgoers!
