The Bee Gees and the Olympics

Now that the 2012 Olympic games are over, we can disclose the fact that Barry and Robin Gibb have had plans to sing "You Should Be Dancing" during the closing ceremony. 

Barry and Robin were asked last year to perform and in principal were positive.  However, during these early conversations Robin’s illness became markedly worse and it slowly became clear it would not happen.  Robin up until early spring this year was saying he would do it!  

The tentative plans had been for Barry to fly in to London in June or July to rehearse with Robin.  But instead he flew in June for Robin’s funeral…
