Last Thursday, February 16, 2012, Robin Gibb visited the construction site for the Bomber Command Memorial in London.

You can read about the visit on his official website (News, February 19, 2012)and on Sunday Express (online version dated February 19, 2012).

The Sunday Express praises Robin’s tireless effort to honour the Bomber boys and states that the great memorial will be the "proudest achievement" for Robin who has "conquered the world as a pop star and is winning his fight against cancer. "

The Memorial is being built in London’s Green Park near Hyde Park Corner.  As you can see, it is still under scaffolding.

Robin is quoted as saying, "This is honestly the proudest thing I’ve ever done. (…)This memorial is bigger than even the Wellington Memorial and will still be here long after we are gone. It will last for ever.”

Well, up on the scaffolding it does seem rather cold.  We are so happy to see you getting better and getting about, but please keep yourself warm, Robin, and don’t catch cold.  Do look after yourself.
