Barry Gibb performed at Love & Hope 2011

February 19, 2011 (Sat.), the 37th Love & Hope Ball was held at Westin Resort and Spa in Florida.  It was a prestigious annual fundraising event for Diabetes Research Institute (DRI) at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

Since Barry and Linda Gibb serve as International Chairmen of the fundraising group for DRI, speculation had been flying also this year as to whether Barry would perform during the evening or not. And he did, wowing all those present!

 Introduced by T.G. Sheppard, Barry took to the stage and sang "To Love Somebody," and then dedicated "Words" to Linda. He closed off with a beautiful duet of "Islands In the Stream" with Kelly Lang, aka Mrs. T.G. Sheppard.
