The Bees were formed in the early 1970s as Japan’s very first Bee Gees tribute band. Known for their wide repertoire of Bee Gee tunes, they were one of the most popular student bands playing around the Tokyo area back then. The members went their separate ways upon graduation. They were like the "big brother" band to Spicks & Specks who still remain active today. The vocalist and guitarist from The Bees will be onstage this Sunday with his old band mates as well as Nacci from Spicks & Specks to play 10 Bee Gee songs including such classics as Massachusetts, Words, I’ve Gotta Get A Message To You and gems like Wouldn’t I Be Someone, My World, and Come On Over. After the set is over, the audience will be welcome to join in the fun and sing with them as they play your favorite Bee Gee songs at request! Come and enjoy!
