Regarding the recent press about Robin Gibb’s condition
While Robin still remains in critical condition, the following announcement has now been made on his official website in response to the media reports from yesterday April 14.
Sadly the reports are true that Robin has contracted pneumonia and is in a coma. We are all hoping and praying that he will pull through.
Because of this situation, Robin’s website is temporarily unavailable. Sorry for any inconvenience.
The stories in the press including The Sun are all based on logical journalist assumption from information available. While some are correct, others are speculation. Obviously Robin’s failure to appear at the World Premiere of the Titanic Requiem on April 10 confirmed the gravity of the situation.
All we can say is that as a real trouper and fighter who loves life, music and creativity, Robin has been defying medical science. We cannot underestimate the seriousness of the situation, but we should keep faith, hope and pray. We’ll be with you all the way, Robin.
